If you like Iseya Yusuke, this is a must-see movie of him. I shall have five or six more of his films and shall upload them later.
Warau Michael (Warau Mikaeru) is based on the eponymous manga by Izumi Kawahara. The film is a mix between fantasy, comedy, and family romance. The film starts with Fumio Shijô (Juri Ueno) is transfered to ST.Michael, her new school, after her mother died and that she met her brother, Kazuomi Shijô (Yusuke Iseya), who has been aparted from her since childhood. At first, at ST. Michael, Fumio has to pretend to be "a proper lady" by hiding her "commoner" trait. However, no longer bearable, one day Fumio decides to skip the self-study lesson to have chicken ramen in the college's backfield. Noticing her absence, Kazune Saiki (Megumi Seki) and Yuzuko Sarashina (Airi Taira) offer to search for Fumio.... Once the two find Fumio enjoying her chicken ramen and then the three reveal their commoner side, the story begins with their sudden mysterious power that will resolve the abduction crime happening.
